Drop Patterns[]
- Drops seem to follow a certain pattern in the post battle screen. Killing a monster immediately adds their drops to the list in the following order: Bottle Item, Synth Item, Soul Item (I'm unaware if these are alphabetical or not, haven't tested to that extent yet). Killing more than 1 of the same type of enemy will make the list less structured, as any drops not found off the first monster will be simply be tagged on afterward (I am also unaware of the consequences of killing 2 or 3 monsters at the same time with lets say, a attack. More testing is required). Listed below are two examples.
(Example numbers are merely examples, I'm aware more than one soul is dropped at a time under normal circumstances, as well as some drops only dropping 2+ at a time)
Example 1:
Monster lineup is Hammer Crabx3
You kill the 1st, it drops Eidolon Lantern, Crab Leg, and a Coral Soul.
You kill the 2nd, it drops Crab Leg and a Coral Soul
You kill the 3rd, it drops Mythril Ore, White Light Rock, and a Coral Soul
The post battle list will look like this:
Example 2:
Monster lineup is Hammer Crabx2 and Magitek Soldierx1
You kill Hammer Crab, it drops Eidolon Lantern, Crab Leg, and a Coral Soul
You kill Magitek Soldier, it drops Mythril Ore, Eidolon Lantern, Sorcerous Armor, White Light Rock, and an EX Soul
You kill Hammer Crab, it drops Mythril Ore, Eidolon Lantern, White Light Rock, and a Coral Soul.
